Who Is Behind Osprey?

Osprey is developed and supplied by Pracctice Ltd who are based in Hereford, England.

Pracctice Ltd was formed in January 1988 after the completion of our first solicitors accounting system. Since then we have gone from strength to strength thanks to a policy of continual development, this has allowed us to always offer a web based solicitors package on the latest technology. We have more than 600 firms with in excess of 6,000 individual users accessing our systems on a daily basis.

Business really took off with the launch of our first Microsoft Windows™ based legal accounts system back in 1996. Osprey quickly developed a reputation for its ease of use and intuitive delivery above other legal accounts software packages.

In 1999 we released our fully integrated Osprey Professional practice management system. Utilising Microsoft SQL™ database technology, Osprey Professional was one of the first true client/server, 32-bit applications released to the legal market.

With the release of Osprey back in February 2004 we became the first legal software supplier to offer a true web based practice management system.
